The Nominating Committee plays a central role in supporting CNO as it implements competencies-based and diversity-aware selection to its committees and Council (board of directors).

Among its duties, the Nominating Committee recommends candidates for appointment or re-appointment to CNO’s committees and advises the Board on best practices in competency-based appointments.

How long will I serve?

The members of the Nominating Committee are appointed for up to 3-year terms, with a maximum of 2 consecutive terms. Nominating Committee members’ terms may be staggered so that no more than two expire in any given year.

Occasional ad hoc meetings may be called by the chair to address issues arising (e.g., making recommendations about filling board vacancies in-between elections)

`
Do I need to live in the Province of Ontario?
